Wildfire relief efforts

Fire response donations support:

  • Distributing critical resources—food, water, toiletries, clothing, and other essentials—to all individuals and families affected by the fires.
  • Providing medical care and prescriptions to patients for acute and chronic conditions exacerbated by wildfires.
  • Offering mental health support for patients experiencing trauma from the fires.
  • Locating, providing immediate care, and securing housing for patients experiencing homelessness in burn and evacuation areas.
  • Providing health insurance enrollment to people who lost insurance or do not have insurance.
  • Providing resource case management to patients who face economic hardship, such as job loss, as a result of the wildfires.

If you would like to donate non-perishable food, diapers or other basic needs supplies for people affected by wildfires, please contact us at VFCGiving@mednet.ucla.edu or (310) 392-9255.
