We want to make sure you’re prepared for your upcoming appointment with your provider.
Follow these steps before your visit:
Be in a well-lit, quiet and private space.
In order to have a video visit, your device must have a front facing camera.
If you are using a computer or laptop, update your browser to the most recent operating system (ONLY Chrome, Safari, or Firefox will allow you to join a video visit). Download one of these browsers if they are not on your device.
If you are using a phone or tablet, update it to the most recent operating system.
Allow your browser access to BOTH camera and microphone.
For iPhone/iPad
Open the settings app.
Tap on Safari > Camera.
Scroll down to Camera & Microphone.
Confirm that “Ask” or “Allow” is checked.
For Android
Open the settings app.
Tap Privacy > Permission Manager.
Tap on Camera and Microphone
Confirm that “Ask” or “Allow” is checked for whichever browser you are using for your appointment.
For Chrome
Open Chrome.
At the top right, click Settings.
Click “Privacy and Security”.
Click on “Site Settings” > Camera and Microphone.
Turn “Ask Before Assessing” on for both Camera and Microphone.
Allow access to camera and microphone when pop up appears after clicking on your appointment link.
For Safari
Click on “Safari” on the top left corner of your screen
Navigate to “Websites” and go to Camera and Microphone tabs.
Change access to “Allow”
For Firefox
Click on your appointment link by opening up Firefox.
A confirmation pop-up will display asking if you want to share your device’s camera and microphone with that site.
Click the “allow” button.
To ensure safety, either connect to a secure and private internet connection or use cellular data.
If you are using headphones, they must have a microphone.
