Dr. Coley King, director of homeless health care at Venice Family Clinic, and VICE News provide an in-depth look at how Project Roomkey has helped improve the lives of some of our unsheltered patients.
A collaborative effort of the State, Los Angeles County and Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, Project Roomkey secures hotel and motel rooms for vulnerable people experiencing homelessness. For people who don’t have a home or a place to stay inside, these temporary placements prevent the spread of COVID-19 and help reduce hospitalizations.
This is just another way Venice Family Clinic has expanded our homeless health care services in response to the pandemic.
