At Venice Family Clinic, we know that mental health is a key part of overall well-being. Our Behavioral Health team provides compassionate, confidential care to help you manage stress, anxiety, depression and other emotional needs. We offer therapy, counseling, psychiatry and specialized support services to help you feel your best. 

Care Provided

Individual, Couple, Child and Family Therapy

Help with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and other concerns. Patients work with licensed therapists to better understand their emotions, build coping skills and make meaningful progress towards their personal goals. 

Group Therapy

A supportive space to connect with other people in similar situations. Led by trained facilitators, these sessions allow people to connect, process and develop coping skills in a setting where patients can feel safe and heard.  

Psychiatry and Medication Management

Evaluation and treatment that can include prescriptions for anxiety, depression and PTSD. Psychiatrists assess your needs, monitor symptoms and adjust your treatment plan to support long-term health.

On-Call Crisis Intervention

Immediate support from a therapist during clinic operational hours for mental health concerns, including suicidal thoughts or distress. We provide patients with real time access to support emotional stabilization, assessment of needs and linkage to resources.

LGBTQ+ Mental Health Support

Therapy and support groups, including AFFIRM, to validate identity and support the unique emotional needs of members of the LGBTQ+ community.  

Domestic Violence Support

Same-day crisis support including safety planning and referrals to shelters and other resources. Longer-term counseling is also offered. We create a safe, confidential environment where survivors can begin to heal and access support systems. 

Substance Use Treatment

Non-judgmental, comprehensive care using a harm reduction approach that includes individual and group counseling, case management support and medications for substance use disorder. Click here to learn more about our SUMMIT program
