Venice Family Clinic encourages our community to vote in the General Election on November 5, 2024.

Your vote affects decisions made about your health and the health of your family and neighbors.

Research shows that communities that vote at higher rates have better health outcomes.

Between now and election day, you can join Vote for your Health initiative.

ATTEND or VOLUNTEER at an event

Between now and election day, we have opportunities for you to join us in Venice, Santa Monica, Gardena, Inglewood and Culver City.

  1. Voter registration events alongside either our free food markets or dedicated vaccine clinics
  2. Mobile Vote Center events featuring music, refreshments, and information about the Clinic’s programs and services. Some feature fun activities for the whole family (check details below). Official Mobile Vote Centers are a convenient way to:
  • Vote in-person
  • Submit your conditional voter registration
  • Drop off your ballot
  • Get a replacement ballot
  • Vote using an accessible voting machine
  • Get help and voting material in multiple languages

    • Expert panelists will guide attendees on how to understand their ballot and how voting can impact their health.
      • Meron Shita, Program Manager for Civic Engagement at Black Women for Wellness
      • Dr. Cesar Barba, Associate Medical Director at Venice Family Clinic
    • Before and after the panel, the Resource Fair is an opportunity to learn about voting and the services Venice Family Clinic offers to the Inglewood community. There will also be music, art projects and refreshments. The whole family is welcome!

      Saturday, 11/2: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
      We’re hosting a Harvest Festival with face-painting, crafting, a community ofrenda/altar and a performance by Grupo Folklórico Nuestras Raíces. We’ll also be handing out non-perishable food (while supplies last). Fun for the whole family!
