Community
Wellness
At Venice Family Clinic, health care means more than just seeing a doctor. We know that things like food, housing, education and support can have a big impact on your health. That’s why our Community Wellness programs help people access resources that support the whole person—body, mind and community.

Personalized support that connects patients to housing, food, benefits and other vital resources that can help them meet basic and individualized needs.
Early Head Start
Supporting families from the very beginning.
Venice Family Clinic’s Early Head Start program provides comprehensive support for families with children from birth to age 3 and expectant parents. Our goal is to promote the health, safety and well-being of young children by strengthening the bond between parents and their children, providing access to medical and dental care, and connecting families with essential community resources. Through home visits, developmental screenings and playgroups, we help parents learn about their child’s needs and create a strong foundation for lifelong well-being.
Field Medicine
House calls for people without a home
Medical and mental health care delivered directly to people living unsheltered on the streets, in temporary shelters or transitional housing. Our clinicians work with community partners with the goal of getting everyone safely housed and off the streets.
Street Medicine Curriculum
Specialized training for medical students, residents and providers in the art and science of delivering compassionate care to people experiencing homelessness.
