While homeless health care clinicians are immersed in some of the most inspiring and gratifying work there is, it is not uncommon to feel sadness, anxiety, anger and powerlessness for the lives and circumstances surrounding the patients for whom you care. In order to be most useful in this work to others (including your patients and your team partners), it is essential to take the necessary steps to refuel, retool, rejuvenate and refresh yourself on a regular basis.
