Advocacy

The advocacy team at Venice Family Clinic focuses on health policies that greatly impact the needs of our patients and works to educate our community and public officials. The Clinic utilizes numerous advocacy strategies, including:

  • e-mail alerts to supporters with information and advocacy actions you can take
  • letters and phone calls to and meetings with elected officials and their staff
  • collaboration with local partners and associations such as the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County, the California Primary Care Association, and the National Association of Community Health Centers
