At Venice Family Clinic, your health and well-being are always our top priority. In order to help slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in accordance with the most updated guidance from the CDC and Los Angeles Department of Public Health, we are temporarily changing the way we provide some services.

We are open and seeing patients, but as much as possible, we are trying to limit face-to-face interaction to those services that are essential. These changes are in effect now.

Here’s what that means for you:

  • If you are sick, have symptoms you believe may be related to COVID-19 (fever, cough or shortness of breath) or have a medical need that requires attention, please call us at (310) 392-8636. Our team will work with you to determine next steps, which may involve your coming into the Clinic or scheduling an appointment with a provider that will be done over the phone.
  • For all other appointments, someone from the Clinic will be contacting you. Based on the reason for your visit, we will either reschedule your appointment for a future date or make arrangements for your appointment to happen over the phone instead.
  • Our pharmacy is open and filling prescriptions.
  • Dental care is available for urgent needs at our Simms/Mann Health and Wellness Center only.  Please call (310) 664-7878 for an appointment if you have a dental emergency. The center is located at 2509 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90405.
    • To schedule a dental appointment, you must have one or more of the following conditions:
      • Severe toothache pain
      • Infection (Swelling of gums, face, or neck)
      • Abscess (a bump on the gums by the tooth causing pain)
      • Bleeding in your mouth that does not stop
      • Trauma (such as a broken tooth or broken facial bones)
  • All group visits and classes continue to be on hold.
  • Our health insurance enrollment department is available for phone appointments. We are no longer having drop-in hours, but we can provide many services over the phone. If you need help with Medi-Cal, MHLA or Covered California, please call us at (310) 664-7509. We can help with applications, renewals, updating your assigned provider, and case termination letters.

Our leadership meets daily to evaluate our processes. We will continue to keep you posted as circumstances change. We appreciate your patience as we work together to keep everyone in our community healthy.
